Georgia State to Announce NCAA Division I-AA Football Team

This is brilliant. Georgia State looks like it’s set to announce a football team that will play in the NCAA’s Division I Football Championship Subdivision, formerly known as I-AA.
I never went to GSU, but I know friends who have. Does that give me enough of a connection? They will be playing at the Georgia Dome, so if I ever get to jonesin’ for a football game on a Saturday in the Fall, I can always head down there.
Could be nice to have a non-conflicting team in town for when I don’t have tickets or can’t afford to pay the scalpers in Athens. Lord knows I’m not going to a Tech game.
